US & EU Food contact testing and its regulation update (Part II – other materials except plastic)

Food contact materials (FCM) can be constructed from a wide variety of materials including plastic, paper, metal, ceramic, wood, etc. Apart from plastic; other material like ceramic, metal, wood and paper are also common for FCM. 

We presented the regulation and testing details of plastics material in May for Part I seminar. For Part II seminar, we will provide the mandatory testing requirement for FCM of ceramic, metal, wood and paper in both EU and US market with examples for illustration. In addition, high risk item of recall case will be provided.
