US & EU Food Contact Testing and Its Regulation Update (Part I – Plastic)

Food contact materials (FCM) can be constructed from a wide variety of materials including plastic, paper, metal, ceramic, etc. Plastics is still one of the most common material for FCM and regulation is made to govern the food safety. The reasons is that plastic can having a variety of additives and these chemicals can migrate to food during actual usage. 

During the Webinar presentation, we will provide the mandatory testing requirement for FCM of plastics in both EU and US framework with the real examples as illustration. In addition, recent regulation updating and high risk item of recall case will be provided.
