US and Canada both have mandatory flammability requirement for general textiles and children’s sleepwear. Related regulations, which aims to reduce danger or injury and loss of life, provide standard test methods of testing and rating the flammability of textiles. In addition to the burning test, specific label for flammability is also required for children’s sleepwear. Incorrect, incomplete or misleading labels can result in products being rejected at borders, or costly recalls that inevitably damage to a brand's image.
This webinar is designed to help you take out the unnecessary guesswork and to be clear about the US and Canada flammability requirements for apparel products.
