US & EU Chemical Requirement Update for Garment

Consumer and manufacturers are now increasing the awareness about the chemical safety of garment items. It is because from the manufacturing of fibers to finishing of textile materials, many functional chemicals and auxiliaries are being used which classified as restricted substance, having varied levels of impact on human beings and the environment. Theses restricted substance include chemicals like Azo dye, phthalates, APEO, heavy metals, formaldehyde, etc…….. which is related to regulation nowadays. 


In this seminar, selected restricted substance and chemical legislation (e.g. including the update) will be highlighted for garment. Moreover, restricted substance testing details will also be provided as one of the essential element in chemical management of garment industry.
